Chill'd Out Youth Project

Chill'd Out Youth Project, Torquay.

Please note that from Monday 12th September 2011 Chill'd Out will no longer be open for the drop in sessions that have been part of the programme. This is because of changes relating to funding and resources.

We will continue to use the Centre for group sessions including our "In the New Zone" group on Thursday's up until December 2011 and possibly onwards (usual times apply, new members please ring for details).

Please contact us for details of any group sessions and watch this space for any new projects that may develop in the near future.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but look forward to still providing an informal learning environment for young people and thank you for your continued support.

INTRODUCTION

Chill'd Out is a Charitable Youth Project for young people aged 10-25 years. The project offers a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in a Park setting, which enables all young people, including  those from the surrounding communities to access the facility. We have both drop in sessions and closed project group work, as well as our off site outdoor activities on offer at times throughout the year.

AIM OF PROJECT

Chill'd Out aims to provide young people aged 10-25 with their own warm, safe space where they can participate in a variety of leisure and informal learning activities. This will enable them to make informed and responsible decisions within their lives and those of the community. Young people can access information and support from our trained youth workers regarding any issues that are important to them. They can also gain accredited  youth awards and make decisions about how to run their project.
